Dogecoin foundation are not happy with the initiative of popular Youtuber and DOGE influencer and plans to take legal actions
Dogecoin Team Considers Legal Action Against Wallace
The Dogecoin Foundation is considering legal action against Matt Wallace, a popular YouTuber and DOGE influencer who is planning to launch a new token using the cryptocurrency’s trademark.
Wallace, a proponent of the popular memecoin, previously stated in a series of tweets that he plans to promote the adoption of dogecoin payments among businesses around the world by educating merchants about the benefits of DOGE payments.
Rather than requesting funding in DOGE, Wallace and his team have announced that they will create a new token called Accept Dogecoin to assist the campaign.
“Matt, literally, you are literally breaking the law. The Dogecoin Foundation is looking into taking legal action against you. You’re NOT helping Dogecoin. Knock it off with this “positivity” thing. There is nothing positive about being a criminal, the thing you are doing,” Dogecoin founder tweeted.
Founder of Dogecoin Fumes
The Dogecoin Foundation, through its pseudonymous founder Shibetoshi Nakamoto, persuaded the long-term DOGE promoter to abandon any plans to build a new token for the sake of “supporting” the memecoin, and he agreed.
Wallace and his colleagues have been threatened with legal action by the Dogecoin team for misusing the Dogecoin trademark and making misleading representations in order to entice naïve investors to join in the proposed cryptocurrency project.
The Shady History of the Dogecoin Team
Further inquiry into the identification of the bitcoin project team member reveals their historical affiliations with various criminal enterprises.
Myles Watkins, the crypto’s Lead Organizer, is a convicted felon who was charged with kidnapping, while another team member has worked on pump and dump schemes like Baby Lambo Inu and Tiger King.
Dogecoin Community Against Wallace Initiative
Because of the team’s questionable reputation, the community is skeptical about Wallace’s Accept Dogecoin cryptocurrency project, which is set to launch on March 29, 2022.
Since Wallace made the effort public, the Dogecoin community has reacted negatively, believing Wallace and his crew are only interested in launching the cryptocurrency for personal gain.
“Matt, the real question: Why develop a new token if you’re wanting to form a team to educate businesses on adopting Doge?” Why not raise funds in Doge, pay employees in Doge, and educate retailers about Doge?
Furthermore, the community would be willing to do this for free. @TDogeWhisperer tweeted, “Makes no sense.”
