NFT company Autograph backed by Tom Brady announced that it has signed a multi-year deal with NBA star Davin Booker
Under the new partnership, Phoenix Suns guard David Booker and Autograph will look to introduce several NFT collections and experiences.
Only a day after signing a multi-year partnership agreement with Penske Entertainment and Team Penske, Tom Brady’s NFT company has added another NBA star to its roster.
Tom Brady broke the news on Twitter, welcoming the Phoenix Suns guard for a long run with his team.
Tom Brady, NFL star and Autograph co-founder, also welcomed Davin Booker, recognizing the benefits he will bring to the NFT company.
Devin Booker Is A Candidate For NBA MVP
Devin Armani Booker is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association. The 25-year-old NBA player is expanding his business opportunities by making significant investments. Tom Brady’s autograph is now one of many in his extensive collection.
David Booker is a candidate for MVP in 2022, as well as a possible All-NBA Team selection.
Since signing a five-year, $158 million contract extension with the Phoenix Suns in 2018, Booker has acquired stakes in seven startups, despite having little financial experience.
Last year, the NBA All-Star became a brand ambassador for video game equipment company Astro Gaming. Furthermore, he earns around $8 million per year from brand endorsements for major corporations such as Nike and the market-leading video game Call of Duty.
Autograph Assist Celebrities In Selling NFTs
Furthermore, the Tom Brady-backed NFT company has collaborated with a number of well-known names in the sports, music, and entertainment industries, including golfer Tiger Woods, sprinter Usain Bolt, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, and singer-songwriter The Weeknd.
In January of this year, the NFT company raised $170 million in a Series B financing round. A16z Venture Capital and Kleiner Perkins led the fundraising round. The company raised $35 million in the Series A financial round in 2021.
The NFT company is dedicated to assisting celebrities from sports, pop culture, and entertainment in selling NFTs. Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of the FTX crypto exchange, sits on the company’s board of directors.
The latest collaboration with Davin Booker, Team Penske, the NTT IndyCar Series, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will increase brand value and awareness.
