A few cryptic posts by Ripple’s chief technology officer (CTO) on X (previously Twitter) have pitched the crypto community into a series of guessing games.
David Schwartz, chief technology officer of Ripple, authored one of these posts. He published a photograph of a frog resting on a lily pad with a water lily flower on each side. The cryptocurrency community, particularly XRP and PEPE enthusiasts, quickly responded to this.
Fans of XRP expressed sentiments such as “Hoping this translates into a transformative XRP price” and “Anticipating a quantum leap or major shift.” A PEPE-themed X account, @xPEPENFT, implied that Ripple’s CTO had reached a positive conclusion and raised a “bullish flag for frog enthusiasts.”
Another X account, @JuanMar63327680, which appears to be a Pond Coin (PNDC) supporter, commented, “Welcome aboard, Sir.” This X user uploaded a picture of two amphibians on the moon bearing the PondX logo.
A second cryptic post was made by X (formerly known as Twitter), sharing a meme of a “Dog” answering a phone call, which has prompted speculation among the crypto DOGE community and the market as a whole.
Dogecoin devotees speculate that X, which is associated with Elon Musk, is likely investigating Dogecoin adoption despite the post’s lack of specific details. It is important to note that similar rumors circulated on microblogging platform X in the past.
A larger market, however, believes that the skeptic meme post is a clue at a new audio call for X. An X account, @alx inquired if an audio calling feature is imminent on X, but X did not provide a definitive response.
Despite this, Musk’s support and positive comments about Dogecoin have sparked enthusiasm among Dogecoin enthusiasts. The statement by Elon Musk has energized Dogecoin supporters, resulting in a significant uptrend that reversed the previous downtrend.
