Binance will list ZKsync (ZK) and launch a token distribution program, with trading starting June 17th.
ZKsync (ZK) is being listed on Binance, the most popular cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume. Additionally, the exchange is initiating a token distribution program for the project.
Binance will expand its selection of supported cryptocurrencies by introducing ZK spot trading pairs at 8 AM UTC on June 17th. The listing is indicative of Binance’s commitment to providing users with access to prospective blockchain platforms and their tokens.
Binance is introducing a number of new trading pairings for the ZKsync (ZK) token. These include ZK/BTC, ZK/USDT, ZK/FDUSD, and ZK/TRY. In anticipation of the forthcoming trading feature, users may commence the deposit of ZK tokens. The withdrawal of ZK will be accessible beginning at 8:00 AM UTC on June 18, 2024.
It is worth noting that Binance has elected not to impose a listing fee for ZK, thereby increasing its accessibility to users. Nevertheless, Binance will assign ZK the designation of “seed tag.”
This designation suggests that the token may be subject to significant volatility and risk. Binance implements this labeling system to assist users in navigating the frequently unpredictable cryptocurrency market.
From June 17th to July 16th, 2024, Binance will implement a token distribution program for the ZK cryptocurrency. They will distribute a total of 10,500,000 ZK tokens to up to 52,500 eligible Binance users during this period.
To be eligible, users must have conducted a minimum of 50 transactions on the ZKSync Era network between February 2023 and March 2024, with each transaction occurring in at least seven distinct months during that period.
However, users who received ZK tokens from the official ZK Nation airdrop, or those with contract, exchange, or bridge addresses, are not eligible. Qualifying users need to deposit a minimum of 0.02 ETH from whitelisted ZKSync Era addresses to Binance.
The quantity of ZK tokens received is not influenced by the sum of ETH deposited. The initial airdrop is scheduled for June 25th, 2024 and its important to note that distribution is first-come, first-served, with each eligible user ID receiving 200 ZK tokens.
