Konami Digital Entertainment has partnered with Avalanche to introduce its latest non-fungible token (NFT) platform, Resella.
Konami Digital Entertainment, a Japanese game developer and publisher, has disclosed its partnership with the Avalanche blockchain to introduce its latest non-fungible token (NFT) solution, “Rosella.”
By offering a streamlined solution for companies and organizations seeking to incorporate blockchain technology into their operations, the NFT platform aims to advance Web3 services.
NFT Transactions Processing
In an announcement sent to Cointelegraph, the Avalanche team stated that the platform is intended to streamline the creation, issuance, and trading of NFTs.
The platform also aims to facilitate the interaction between newcomers and blockchain technology. The platform’s user-friendly approach eliminates needing external Web3 wallets or intricate cryptocurrency transactions. This is a critical feature.
Resella facilitates transactions in the Japanese yen by catering to Japan’s local market requirements. Nevertheless, the new NFT platform intends to enhance its reach by expanding its functionalities to accommodate global users.
Furthermore, the team stated that developers can integrate the platform’s capabilities into their applications while consumers enjoy a user-friendly marketplace experience.
Traditional gaming and Web3
Resella also enables the migration of existing platforms into the Web3 domain, in addition to its primary function. Konami Digital Entertainment’s objective is to establish an inclusive environment that enables businesses from various sectors to investigate blockchain innovations by increasing the accessibility of Web3 technologies.
Resella also anticipates the development of novel social experiences within the Web3 ecosystem. For example, NFTs from gaming environments could be utilized as event tickets or to access exclusive in-game content, increasing user engagement and generating more immersive experiences.
Resella provides consistent processing speeds and efficient operations with 0% gas costs for users, enabled by an Avalanche Subnet and the AvaCloud Web3 launchpad service of Ava Labs. This reinforces its appeal as an NFT solution by guaranteeing a seamless transaction experience.
Web3 continues to integrate with gaming
Furthermore, the convergence of the two industries necessitates the construction of additional infrastructure as gaming continues to capitalize on Web3 technologies.
A new Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) layer-2 chain, known as the “zero-knowledge” (ZK) chain, was announced by the gaming-focused blockchain Ronin on June 18.
This chain is designed to scale Web3 games. To facilitate the expansion of its game studio collaborators and the expansion of its user base, the team disclosed that it would implement the exclusive ZK chain.
Sky Mavis, the team responsible for Ronin, stated that their objective is to establish a unified gaming ecosystem that enables the trading of NFTs, asset transfers, and token exchanges between layer-1 and layer-2 games.
