In an effort to increase excitement surrounding its HSK coin, Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange HashKey has launched its tap-to-earn bot on Telegram.
The Asia-based cryptocurrency services provider HashKey Group said that users can now access Telegram’s tap-to-earn bot, called DejenDog, to retrieve their HSK.
Before its anticipated listing in Q3 2024, the exchange claims that 10 million HSK will be issued. It also states that users will “randomly” receive a base amount of “eligible HSK” when they log into the bot.
According to the press release, users can engage with a dog character in the bot that has a husky theme to collect HIT points. These points can then be exchanged for extra HSK or used in decentralized applications on HashKey Chain, the company’s layer-2 solution.
A few weeks ago, HashKey Group announced that it would airdrop its HSK in an effort to increase its usability and adoption within the HashKey ecosystem.Â
This coincides with the bot’s launch. In November 2023, the Hong Kong-based company initially revealed its plans for a utility token, stating that its business model will be “closely tied to the long-term interests of ecosystem contributors.”
The Ethereum blockchain is the foundation for the ERC-20 token known as HashKey EcoPoints (HSK). In a blog post, the business stated that it was meant to act as a reward for ecosystem contributors, providing early access to “future new token subscriptions” along with fee discounts and “specific rights” for asset issuance.
