A Coin Machine According to data from Radar, BitAccess, a manufacturer of cryptocurrency ATMs, may have been a factor in that decline, as its net installations dropped 26% between August 2022 and January 2024, from 9,160 to 6,774.
However, throughout the year, two additional significant manufacturers, Genesis Coin and General Bytes, continued to increase the number of Bitcoin ATMs.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin Depot, a prominent contender in the cryptocurrency ATM industry, recently expanded to its 28th state in the country and became a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq on July 3.
Additionally, the company disclosed revenue of $179.5 million for the third quarter of 2023, representing a 3% growth compared to last year.
According to the data of Coin ATM Radar, 498 crypto ATM operators operate in 71 countries in total.
