On January 17, 2022, Bitmain announced the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd, a new cryptocurrency miner. Bitmain stated, “The Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd. has officially launched.” “With a hashrate of 198 TH/s, 5445W of power consumption, and a 27.5 J/TH power efficiency. Specifications and operating the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd
The machine’s specifications on Bitmain’s shopping section do not include a price, but it does state that shipping will begin in May and last until September 2022.
Mining rig operators should use the Antspace HK3 storage unit with the new miners, according to Bitmain. The Antspace HK3 can hold 210 Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd. mining machines, according to the company. The machine weighs roughly 17.5kg and measures around 410 x 196 x 209mm, according to the specifications.
If the specs are correct, Bitmain’s new hydro-powered mining machine will be the most powerful to date. The hashrate of the mining device will outperform Bitmain’s other next-generation bitcoin mining rig, which has a hashrate of 140 TH/s, implying that the hydro unit is 41% more powerful. The top two most profitable bitcoin miners are Bitmain’s Antminer S19 Pro (110 TH/s) and Microbt’s Whatsminer M30S++ (112 TH/s).
According to Bitmain’s website, the previously mentioned Antminer S19 XP (140 TH/s) will be delivered in July 2022. When Bitmain’s XP machine was first revealed, a number of Bitcoin mining operations, including Bitnile and Greenidge Generation Holdings, pre-ordered batches of the machine.
