Bybit has launched pre-market perpetuals to allow traders to speculate on the future values of tokens before their official launch.
This product was launched by Bybit, the second-largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world based on trading volume, to enable traders to predict new token prices before their official introduction.
Users can execute trades at the opening price and put orders with up to 5x leverage once the token is listed, giving them an advantage over competitors who usually only permit 2x or 3x leverage on pre-market trades.
Pre-Market Perpetuals
Using Pre-Market Perpetuals to hedge spot holdings offers traders a significant edge. Pre-Market Perpetuals can be used by traders to hedge their positions and lower their risks when they engage in Pre-Market Spot Trading or short-selling.
Traders can secure their assets and lock in profits with this feature. In futures trading, two parties agree to purchase or sell an asset, security, or commodity at a certain price and later date.
These electronically traded contracts are traded on exchanges, in this case, Bybit, and are enforceable under law.
With the introduction of pre-market perpetuals, Bybit hopes to strengthen its position in the industry by providing its 37 million users with better trading tools and an enhanced user experience.
