Elon Musk slams VP Kamala Harris‘ border policies as deceptive during her border tour, which has sparked controversy ahead of the US elections.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has openly criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s handling of border issues, calling her recent comments misleading.
This criticism comes as Harris tours the southern border, presenting a strong stance on immigration policies ahead of the upcoming election.
Elon Musk Accuses Vice President Harris of Deception on Border Security
In a recent tweet, Elon Musk echoed the Border Patrol Union’s criticisms of Harris’s approach to border control.
The Union raised concerns about Harris’s limited involvement, pointing out her brief visits and repeated statements over the past three and a half years without substantial follow-through.
Musk implied that Harris has not genuinely addressed the complexities of immigration and border control.
He also commented on data shared by the Rabbit Hole, which showed an increase in immigration under the Harris and Biden administration.
In response to Harris’s claim, “Strengthening our border is not new to me and it is a longstanding priority of mine. I have done that work,” Musk strongly disagreed, labeling her statement a “huge lie” and expressing disappointment by stating, “The scale of the deception is jawdropping.”
Harris’s Border Visit Amidst Criticism
Kamala Harris aimed to showcase a responsible approach to border security during her visit to the US-Mexico border.
She highlighted the measures implemented by the current administration, emphasizing a balance between securing the border and maintaining humane immigration policies.
Despite these reassurances, figures like Musk and others continue to critique her efforts, perceiving them as insufficient.
Adding to the criticism, Robert Kiyosaki harshly denounced Harris’s border policies, drawing a controversial comparison to Monica Lewinsky.
He described her tactics as a “Lewinsky action plan for success,” suggesting that her maneuvers around border issues were more about political gain than effective policy-making.
As the election draws closer, the debate over border policies remains highly polarized. Harris has also committed to promoting US dominance in emerging technologies such as blockchain, AI, and quantum computing, hoping to attract younger, tech-savvy voters and the broader crypto community, which has largely leaned toward supporting Trump.
Additionally, the Coinbase-backed “Stand With Crypto” PAC has announced its support for pro-XRP lawyer John Deaton, strengthening his stance against anti-crypto Senator Elizabeth Warren ahead of the elections.
