TJ Allard, a two-time Emmy winning producer and entrepreneur, has joined the Dogecoin community by responding to a tweet from Dogecoin’s creator, Billy Markus.
The executive producer is known for his work on a number of TV episodes, including the History Channel’s The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. “Did someone say dogecoin?” Allard said in response to the post.
Allard has previously remarked on cryptocurrency and financial themes, including the satirical “Here Comes Another Bubble Song.” The boss encouraged the authors to write another song on bitcoin and the NFT industry.
Celebrities are embracing cryptocurrency
The award-winning producer isn’t the first Hollywood star to get into the NFT and crypto boom, in the U.S. The iconic rock band Kiss leader is ready to take cryptocurrencies as payment for his real estate in Las Vegas, which is presently selling for $13.5 million.
While others applaud cryptocurrencies, Kanye West, a top-tier rapper and celebrity, has spoken out against them, telling his fans that he will devote his time and resources to “creating actual items in the real world” rather than NFTs.
While Kanye hasn’t voiced any interest in NFTs, he did back the “Bitcoin guys” in 2020, when the industry was far from where it is now.
Despite the fact that Dogecoin is one of the most well-known meme coins on the market, it is still considered nerdier than Bitcoin or NFTs, which gained public acceptance during the recent crypto market rise.
In terms of Dogecoin’s pricing, the popular memecoin is currently trading at $0.13, down 1% from the previous trading day. Dogecoin has lost 20% of its value since the beginning of the year.
