Haruna Gohzu, an animator who has worked on popular anime such as Pokémon and the Demon Slayer film, will oversee the animation in the films.

Noma, a Japanese film studio, has announced that three feature films based on the world of cryptocurrency will be produced. The Rhetoric Star, the first film, is now in production and will be released in 2024.

Taichi Ito, the founder of Noma and a producer of the crypto-themed series , said in an announcement on Tuesday that the trilogy wants to transmit knowledge about the crypto sector through creative narrative. Ito also mentioned that their team is collaborating with Bitcoin (BTC) experts and award-winning sound designer Sefi Carmel. He also believes that The Rhetoric Star will “transform the way” people learn about cryptocurrency.

Mai Fujimoto, the CEO of Tokyo-based blockchain business Gracone, and Ryo Nakatsuji, an executive at Japanese publisher CoinPost, are also producing the video series. Meanwhile, Japanese animator Haruna Gohzu, who has worked on popular anime such as Pokémon, Fairy Tail, and Demon Slayer, will be in charge of the animations for the flicks.

The team hopes to produce a series that transmits insights from the world’s crypto experts to the masses in a “creative and approachable” way, according to Sefi Carmel, who is designing the sounds for the films. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join the team and expressed his excitement as the world moves toward “a virtual future based on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and the like.”

Animoca brands, a blockchain gaming company located in Japan, formed a subsidiary in February to convert Japanese content into nonfungible tokens. These include episodes from Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia, among others. Aside from anime, the company will look into games, art, and sports for content.

In April, Line, Japan’s most popular social messaging app, partnered with Yoshimoto Kogyo, a Japanese entertainment firm, to develop a nonfungible token (NFT) marketplace. The social media network stated that it will provide its users up to 40,000 NFTs.
