Kraken, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, will launch its NFT Marketplace on the Polygon ($MATIC) network.
They announced that Kraken NFTs are officially launch-ready, which means they are no longer in beta. The market could attract NFT artists, enthusiasts, and similar parties. In addition to the blockchain integration, more than 250 collections will be available on the marketplace.
Kraken NFTs Polygon Blockchain
Kraken stated that the Polygon network is now accessible via Kraken NFT, noting that it is one of the fastest-growing blockchains in the NFT sector. Additionally, the platform has no transaction fees for purchasing and selling. CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club are among the NFT offerings on the Kraken platform. In an announcement, the exchange said,
“We have expanded the number of NFT collections available on Kraken NFT from 70 to over 250, we have also integrated one of the fastest growing blockchains for NFTs in the space. The ultra-fast and efficient Polygon network — along with its red-hot Reddit Collectible Avatars collection — is now accessible from Kraken NFT.”
In February 2023, Kraken was reported to be under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for offering unregistered securities, according to news reports.
