Shiba Inu’s burn rate rose 1,494% in 24 hours. Shibburn, a site that follows Shiba Inu’s burn implementation and statistics, shows that SHIB token destruction has accelerated.
The Shibburn website says that on the last day, the rate at which Shiba Inu meme coins were burned went up by a huge 1,494%. Compared to the day before, when the SHIB Army burned 2,833,917 SHIB, they were able to destroy 45,165,582 SHIB. Nearly all of the 45.1 million coins, or 37,843,644 Shiba Inu, were taken out of circulation and put into a dead wallet in a mysterious single transfer. In the past week, SHIB fans have worked together to destroy 147,590,000 SHIB. Most likely, the burn rate went up because the price of the meme coin dropped by 4% over the past few days, which caused SHIB to add another 0.
Ripple CTO says he could have been part of “Satoshi,” here’s what happened
David Schwartz, who is the chief technology officer at Ripple, says that he could have been one of the “Satoshi” people who made Bitcoin. Schwartz said in a recent tweet that the mysterious person who made BTC could have done almost everything he did. Schwartz was very upset that he didn’t find out about the first cryptocurrency until 2011, a year after Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared. Back in 2020, rumors started going around that the CTO of Ripple was Satoshi. Schwartz said that even though it was possible to think that Satoshi was involved in making Bitcoin, he wasn’t.
XRPL was picked by innovative DLT game hub Equilibrium, here’s why
Equilibrium Gaming Hub went on Twitter to talk about why it chose XRP Ledger a year ago to make its blockchain games. Equilibrium says that the choice fell on XRPL and the XRP community because they have always been about making things that are useful and improving the way things are done right now. In the same tweet, Equilibrium said that it wants to replace centralized gaming markets and link them to the financial world. On the other hand, onXRP, a modular ecosystem based on XRP Ledger, announced earlier this summer that its play-to-earn Maladroids project would be added to the XRPL blockchain.
New SHIB whale born, holding 3.3 trillion coins
Whale Alert says that yesterday, a staggering amount of more than 3.3 trillion SHIB was transferred in a single transaction. The total value of the Shiba Inu on the move was $33,839,927. Etherscan does not show how much SHIB the sender or receiver has in their wallets. But earlier this month, the same amount of SHIB was sent to a wallet that was completely empty. This made people in the crypto community think that a new SHIB whale had appeared. Now that SHIB’s price has gone up by another zero, whales are becoming more active. According to Etherscan, an anonymous whale moved 150 billion SHIB worth $1.5 billion to the Crypto.com exchange, presumably to sell them.
