Shiba Inu (SHIB) Payments Expand To Millions Of Users Globally As BitPay Adds Four New Partners
Shiba Inu payments could reach millions of users worldwide as BitPay adds four new partners. BitPay, a cryptocurrency payment processor, has announced the addition of two new exchanges and two new wallets to its accurate payment protocol, which includes top crypto providers Bitso, Bitstamp, Edge, and Guarda.
Bitso and Bitstamp, two leading cryptocurrency exchanges based in Mexico and Luxembourg, have over four million customers worldwide.
In addition to the new partners, Blockchain Wallet, the world’s largest self-custody wallet, has already adopted the BitPay Protocol. BitPay’s Payment Protocol is also enabled for in-store and online purchases at Verifone’s 600,000 merchants, with a 35 million device footprint.
BitPay’s Accurate Payment Protocol
The BitPay Protocol, BitPay’s accurate payment protocol, enables more reliable blockchain payments by eliminating common payment exceptions such as overpayments, underpayments, late payments, unconfirmed payments, and potential double-spend payments.
“Businesses accepting crypto should be able to accept payments from any crypto wallet and payments should post fast and be free of payment expectations. BitPay Protocol delivers on all these benefits and BitPay is pleased that our new and existing wallet and exchange partners have set the industry bar for payment quality,” said Stephen Pair, CEO of BitPay. “We are developing payment technology solutions to transform how businesses and people send, receive, and store money around the world making payments faster, more secure, and less expensive.”

Businesses can now accept cryptocurrency payments from over 200 million cryptocurrency users by using BitPay. Bitpay has processed over $5 billion in payments for tens of thousands of businesses all over the world since its inception.
BitPay Support For Shiba Inu
BitPay officially began supporting the Shiba Inu coin in late 2021, allowing SHIB to be spent at hundreds of BitPay merchants that accept Shiba Inu.
SlingTV, American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, Carolina Hurricanes, and Twitch are among the major companies that currently accept SHIB via BitPay.
Bitpay also supports Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), DogeCoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and USD-pegged stablecoins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC, and USDP).
Porsche Towson, Baltimore’s only exclusive Porsche center, has partnered with cryptocurrency payment processor BitPay to accept digital assets, including Shiba Inus, as previously reported by Coinscreed.
Shiba Inu drew a lot of attention following its long-awaited listing on the Robinhood trading platform earlier this month, and it is currently trading at $0.0000245 at the time of publication.
