Shiba Inu (SHIB), the most searched cryptocurrency in 2021, has again managed to reclaim the spotlight. Crypto whales enthusiasts seem to be preparing to grab more of SHIB.
The popular meme coins appearing on the Robinhood listing boosted SHIB prices, while the SHIB: The Metaverse land bidding event also supported it. As a result, SHIB’s 24-hour trading volume jumped by a whopping 450%.
SHIB surged 21% in the last 24 hours to 0.00002754 and was the best performer among major cryptocurrencies. The 24-hour trading volume of the token increased nearly sixfold to $4.4 billion.
SHIB: The Metaverse land bidding is live
Many factors are working in the Shina Inu ecosystem and community’s favor. With the announcement of its Metaverse, 3-day bidding for 35,000 pieces of land is live for the Shibarmy. Virtual world enthusiasts were lining up to take advantage of the opportunity, and it has all the possibilities that it can turn out to be a sold-out event.
MilkShake, a Shib community member, said the bids surrounding popular hubs, streets, and areas are gaining more traction. Meanwhile, users must have Leash or Shiboshi tokens locked to participate in the bidding process.
SHIB will be used in the planned Metaverse to add photos and logos of the land plots and even rename them. The images and names can be swapped and renamed endlessly and the SHIB token used in the process will be burned to help the community. However, the meme cryptocurrency can also be used to lease the HUBS. In the virtual world, the HUBs are the most valuable lands.
ETH Whales adds another 775 billion SHIB
It is fascinating that the Shiba Inu team has made such major announcements amid the present bearish market conditions. In the meantime, the Ethereum (ETH) Whales appear to be pleased with the developments of Shibverse and Robinhood listings.
According to WhaleStats, an ETH whale named “BlueWhale0073” has purchased over $20 million worth of 775 billion Shiba Inu tokens. Earlier, multiple whales amassed over 393 billion SHIB, and this was immediately before the Robinhood listing.
