When NASCAR driver Keith McGee woke up on Thursday morning, there was an unexpected gift in store for him: $181 million worth of Shiba Inu coins sitting in the balance of his Coinbase account.

A tweet from McGee alleges that the money does not belong to him and that he wishes to have it returned to him.
Hey @coinbase I woke up to having $181 million extra dollars in my account that doesn’t belong to me and I would like to return it. pic.twitter.com/tAkrDovKU6— Keith McGee (@keithmcgee907) October 28, 2021
While he has yet to get a response from Coinbase, the 40-year-old racecar driver from Alaska told TobyChristie.com that he will continue to fight for justice for “as long as it takes” until a resolution is reached.Â
It is admirable that McGee is determined to recover his unintentional Shiba Inu riches; nevertheless, it is unclear whether he is genuinely capable of withdrawing the money, as this might simply be a display error.
