Skoda India, the Indian branch of Czech automaker Skoda Auto, has introduced a Web3 and NFT experience in partnership with Near Protocol.
The platform, “Skodaverse India,” strives to offer affordable gas costs, enables the provision of interoperable NFTs for use across different platforms, and create environmentally friendly and scalable NFTs.
The company has announced that NFT holders on Skodaverse India will receive access to personalized services and experiences. These offerings will be announced along with the initial drop details.
In line with their commitment to sustainability, the platform Skodaverse India will issue all NFTs on blockchains with zero carbon emissions. The platform plans to release the first-ever Skoda NFT collection for sale shortly, although the specific date or price has not been set yet.
Users can acquire the NFT by adding funds to their wallets when it is released. NFT holders can enjoy several advantages, including owning a unique digital asset representing artwork or collectibles from Skoda. They can also enjoy the potential for the NFT’s value to appreciate over time, the ability to resell it, and access to unique benefits, incentives, or experiences related to NFT ownership.
Users can trade on the platform by utilizing both fiat currency and cryptocurrencies. According to the developers, this NFT platform marks the company’s first venture into the Web3 world. Therefore, inviting users to explore, acquire, and own one-of-a-kind digital art pieces.
