On October 18, the New York-based technology company Insomnia Labs announced a partnership with various web3 businesses, including Co: Create, Smart Token Labs, Cookie3, and Crossmint, to introduce the Loyalty+ brand loyalty program.

Insomnia Labs explained the new venture as utilizing various web3 technologies, such as blockchain, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and artificial intelligence to replace conventional loyalty systems.

The platform provides users with a centralized web interface to access and use their points from different loyalty programs. Additionally, it offers tailored experiences based on off-chain and on-chain data insights, guaranteeing distinctive user engagements.

Insomnia claims the Loyalty+ ecosystem will incorporate gamification components using a specific API from Co: Create. Additionally, Smart Token Labs will see to it that user identities are created and that traditional online platforms be switched over to the web3 environment.

By creating personalized user journeys, analytics provider Cookie3 will increase consumer engagement, and Crossmint's NFT checkout solution will guarantee compatibility in traditional and online finance environments. Billy Huang, the CEO of Insomnia Labs , emphasized the goal of the initiative:

“Loyalty+ isn't just a product; it's a paradigm shift in how loyalty is perceived and executed in the modern digital era.”

Blockchain technology and platform interoperability, which replace the conventional silos associated with various loyalty programs, are the foundation of Loyalty+.

This creates opportunities for cross-brand promotions and marketing campaigns. Since its founding in 2021, Insomnia Labs has collaborated with companies like Coca-Cola, OpenSea, Web3 Ventures, NYX Professional Makeup by L'Oréal, Under Armour, and Polygon.

According to some observers, these partnerships may signify the growing desire to combine traditional and web3 elements for a richer client experience.
