Circle's USDC and Stripe\u2019s payment services<\/a> are now integrated with Aptos, enabling cross-chain transfers across eight blockchains and offering fiat on-ramps for Aptos wallets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stripe and Circle Introducing USDC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Circle's USDC stablecoin and Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) are scheduled to be launched natively on the Aptos blockchain network <\/a>as Circle and Stripe continue to broaden their services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 72 transaction pathways for cross-chain operations will be established by the integration, which will allow Aptos users to transfer USDC across eight main blockchains, including Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, and Solana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current Ethereum-bridged USDC, which has over $140 million in circulation on Aptos, will be replaced by native USDC on Aptos, which is issued by Circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transition from bridged USDC to native USDC will be facilitated by bridge providers such as Stargate, which are designed on LayerZero<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users will be able to convert fiat currencies directly into USDC through Aptos-compatible wallets, as Stripe's payment services will offer fiat on-ramp capabilities for the Aptos network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of the integration is to simplify the process of merchant pay-ins and payments by integrating blockchain technology with traditional finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to John Egan, Stripe's director of crypto, the integration of the Aptos blockchain\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> into Stripe's crypto products enhances the efficiency of global fund flows for both consumers and merchants by utilizing stablecoins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
