In honour of the basketball star, the new owners of KB24\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> announced a 10-step strategy for the digital NFT initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website got almost 7,000 reservations for the auction within 48 hours of the announcement. There will be 10,000 non-fungible tokens commemorating Bryant's greatest events and accomplishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An NFT airdrop to early access fans and adopters, an art reveal, and several giveaways are all on the schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially, the website was founded in 2006 as Kobe's personal website, allowing fans to interact with him. However, by 2016, when he retired from the NBA, the website had been sold several times. It now owns the KB24 initiative, which was founded by two long-time Kobe enthusiasts, Andy Treys and Sako Waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were born and raised on the property. Like a signed Kobe jersey or basketball, we wanted to keep it forever, but there is only one KB24.com<\/a>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In order to run the massive NFT sale, the two increased their crew size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have a lot of people on board to help us finish the KB24 NFT project, and everyone is happy to provide their time and resources without expecting anything in return. It truly demonstrates how much of an influence Kobe Bryant had on everyone's lives,\u201d Andy says. \u201cAs we come closer to launching, we'll provide more information on everyone else contributing to the project.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

According to the founders, the idea was born out of a desire to help others. As a result, the Mamba & Mambacita <\/a>Sports Foundation will receive 100% of the earnings and revenue from the OpenSeas auction. The charity might raise up to $50 million from the auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sports World and NFTs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Other Kobe NFTs hit the market before the KB24 NFT sale. Unreleased Kobe Bryant photographs were auctioned off on the Cryptograph NFT market. The Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation received a portion of the proceeds from this sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, famous names in the sports business <\/a>are looking for methods to get involved with cryptocurrency. EA Sports has posted a job opening for a Senior Director to investigate “blockchain and NFTs.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
