Leagues joined the NFT this year, following in the footsteps of their football players. LaLiga, one of Spain's top soccer leagues, announced the launch of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) for all of its individual players in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These NFTs were released as digital cards that could be traded and used to play with the tokens of other members. This NFT launch was made possible via a partnership with Sorare, a French start-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The introduction also witnessed the tokenization of LaLiga's finest players<\/a>, like Antoine Griezmann of Atl\u00e9tico Madrid, Vincius Jnior of Real Madrid, and Pedri of FC Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
