Following the strong rally, demand for Shiba Inu's inclusion in the popular investment platform\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> has grown, with hundreds of investors contacting Robinhood to “kindly request” its inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The petition <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporters of the “Dogecoin<\/a> killer” have been signing a Change.org petition requesting trading site Robinhood to include the popular pet-meme cryptocurrency for trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet\u2019s encourage Robinhood to be the first traditional brokerage to get on this train,\u201d\u00a0\u00a0the petition said, adding that introducing Dogecoin (DOGE) to the trading platform and its investors had been a \u201chuge success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShiba Inu is a similar meme coin with genuine potential,\u201d the petition continued<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Dogecoin accounted for 62 percent of Robinhood's cryptocurrency transaction-based income in the second quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Including Dogecoin, the famous commission-free investment site now offers a trading portfolio of seven cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to block explorer and analytics site Etherscan, Shiba Inu just exceeded 730,000 holdings, and while the number is continually on the rise, the Robinhood listing would give it a significant boost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sizable retail clientele<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt's still going strong with 230,000 signatures. Congratulations to all of you. You made it happen. Webull was the first to arrive, and he had already listed Shib. In this week's update, Tristan Luke, the petition's creator, said, “All indications are that Robinhood<\/a> will soon follow.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shiba Inu's<\/a> strong retail user base, which can also be gauged on social media platforms, is reflected in the petition, which just exceeded 246,000 signatures and is still aiming for the 300,000 mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
