In a recent tweet, the centibillionaire writes that neither he, nor Birchall, nor any of his associates are involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clarification has generated a great deal of consternation in the Dogecoin <\/a>community since it indicates that the foundation misled about its affiliation with Musk's team in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of its relaunch, the Dogecoin Foundation stated that it has reestablished its board of advisors, which included Birchall, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, and Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The appointment of Musk's right-hand man to the board of directors was first met with enthusiasm and was even hailed as a success by certain members of the community. Musk is well-known as one of the most outspoken proponents of the joke coin, and he recently predicted that he will become the world's first Dogecoin billionaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the organization's official website, the board's membership has remained unchanged since it was established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A legal lawsuit against copycat cryptocurrency Dogecoin <\/a>2.0 (DOGE2) was threatened by the foundation last month in order to safeguard the cryptocurrency's identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
