With the announcement of a multi-year contract to develop a Non-Fungible Token<\/a> (NFT) marketplace, WWE has expanded its cooperation with Fox. <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The NFTs will contain licensed collector goods honouring historic WWE Superstar moments from WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and other notable WWE events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fox presently airs WWE \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>Friday Night SmackDown as part of a multibillion-dollar agreement announced in 2019, and Fox's NFT arrangement with WWE will showcase its first NFTs outside of the Fox umbrella under its Blockchain Creative Labs NFT imprint (spawned through a relationship with Bento Box Entertainment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment, Blockchain <\/a>Creative Labs is in charge of a $100 million creative fund. Aside from NFTs dedicated to the successful show The Masked Singer, Fox's upcoming animated comedy KRAPOPOLIS will be the first animated series exclusively curated on the blockchain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a news statement, WWE Senior Vice President, Revenue <\/a>Strategy & Development Scott Zanghellini remarked, “Blockchain Creative Labs has swiftly become a pioneer in the field with an exceptional executive team that fully knows the NFT arena and its immense potential.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Through this new agreement, we will be able to strengthen our connection with FOX as we continue to look for new and innovative ways to engage our devoted audience.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans will be able to buy collectibles using standard cash or cryptocurrency using Eluvio's digital wallet. WWE <\/a>continues to see potential in the NFT sector, as evidenced by the fact that it released its first NFTs earlier this year, featuring The Undertaker. WWE released John Cena NFTs ahead of the SummerSlam season earlier this year. Both NFT dips happened in tandem with Bitski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WWE Network, which was leased to NBC's Peacock last year in a billion-dollar agreement, has already yielded huge profits for WWE through monetizing its past.
