Chainalysis\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, a blockchain data analysis platform launched by Jonathan Levin and Michael Gronager in 2014, was valued at US$4.2 billion in its Series E fundraising round in June. Southern Asia and Oceania, according to the company's 2021 Geography of Cryptocurrency research, are the world's fourth-largest cryptocurrency markets, accounting for $572.5 billion, or 14% of all cryptocurrency value transacted between July 2020 and June 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transaction <\/a>activity in Oceania and Central and Southern Asia surged by 706 percent during the same period, according to the research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Pacific region is quickly becoming a centre for cryptocurrency innovation,\u201d said Chainalysis Australia <\/a>and New Zealand<\/a> manager Todd Lenfield. \u201cOur increased investment in the region will ensure businesses and governments can explore digital asset ecosystems in a safe, compliant manner.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ulisse Dellorto, the company's managing director for Asia<\/a>-Pacific, added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChainalysis\u2019s data platform will strengthen the trust necessary to further legitimize cryptocurrency as an everyday asset for retail and institutional investors alike.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
