The UAE in conjunction with Emirates Post Group (EPG) will release the country's first-ever<\/a> NFT stamps commemorating its 50th National Day. On December 2, 2021, the EPG will release four different NFT stamps to celebrate the nation's Golden Jubilee. <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

These four dynamic NFT stamps will have a digital twin on the blockchain\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, according to TradeArabia News Service, and will be marketed as digital collectibles linked to their physical stamp counterparts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first crypto stamp, “the Golden Jubilee 2021,” is reported to be a premium edition containing 1 gram of fine gold, while the second stamp, “Spirit of the Union \u2013 1971,” represents the founding fathers' formation of the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third stamp is titled “Year of the 50th \u2013 2021,” and the fourth is titled “Projects of the 50th 2071,” both of which highlight the UAE's futuristic vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Features of the new NFT stamps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This combination of classic stamps with futuristic crypto is seen by EPG as the company's first move toward demonstrating its truly “digitally-centred” approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crypto stamps will depict the country's history and landmarks and will be available for trade, exchange, and holding. To see the digital graphic associated with the card, the buyer must scan the QR code<\/a> printed on the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stamp incorporates a cryptographic NFC chip that can be verified using an NFC reader. Furthermore, every stamp contains a dynamic code buried beneath the card that can be unlocked by scanning the QR code to activate the counterpart on the blockchain, ensuring safety against any unprecedented leaks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
