The leader of the House Committee on Financial Services, Maxine Waters, has announced that numerous CEOs of leading crypto businesses in the US would testify at a hearing on digital assets and the future of finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, Bitfury CEO Brian Brooks, Paxos CEO Chad Cascarilla, Stellar <\/a>Development Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon, and Alesia Haas, the CEO of Coinbase Inc. and the chief financial officer of Coinbase Global, will be witnesses at a full House committee hearing on Dec. 8, according to a Wednesday announcement by Waters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hearing, titled “Digital Assets and the Future of Finance: Understanding the Challenges and Benefits of Financial Innovation in the United States<\/a>,” is the latest in a series of congressional hearings on the issues surrounding crypto assets adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
