It's the latest in a long line of top-tier IP that's on its way to becoming its own NFT\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>. Let's take a look at the most recent VeVe marketplace developments, as well as what we can expect from the future NFT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latest release by\u00a0Disney<\/a>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Let's take a look back at how we arrived at this point. It all started in June with a VeVe relationship with Marvel. The partnership between Marvel and VeVe is still growing, as the two are currently working on a Deadpool NFT release. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the NFT collectable house has continued to develop its relationships since then, with a particular focus on its relationship with Disney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disney originally hinted at a fresh wave of NFT releases in October, as the entertainment behemoth looked to build on the success of its Marvel NFT releases by expanding its digital product offering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even in that study, which was published less than 60 days ago, we got little information about what actual IP Disney was trying to grow into NFTs with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The historic property only recently revealed that it would be a part of Disney+'s latest campaign. Then, in the weeks building up to Disney+ Day last month, VeVe and Disney began rolling out NFTs based on Star Wars and The Simpsons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, for their latest release, ‘The Mickey Mouse NFT Collection,' they've come out swinging with even more heavy hitters. ‘Steamboat Willie,' the first series, includes a black and white Mickey Mouse on a steamboat deck:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VeVe continuous shine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

VeVe hasn't shied away from partnering with the biggest and brightest IP on the market. Outside of Disney and Marvel IP, we've seen VeVe collaborate with some less-traditional but nevertheless significant brands, such as the US Postal Service, which capitalized on the famous iconography associated with stamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the platform partnered with Immutable X to integrate VeVe NFTs into the Ethereum network. Latest Disney NFTs on VeVe have sold out swiftly, with resales on the recent Simpson NFTs<\/a>, for example, showing a significant return. The NFT community is anticipating similar results from the impending Mickey Mouse release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
