Over 80 million people use Opera's Android mobile app, and the integration is set to go live in the first quarter of 2022\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>. Polygon's ecosystem will then be available for everyone else, including those who don't use Opera's Android app. Polygon is a layer two scaling solution for Ethereum (ETH). It's meant to cut gas fees and speed up transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People who use Opera will be able to use Polygon's decentralized apps, or dApps, like Sushiswap, Curve, and Aave. They will also be able to use blockchain games and nonfungible token platforms like Decentraland and Opensea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opera Mobile executive vice president Jorgen Arnese says the new integration will help “remove the biggest challenge that crypto enthusiasts<\/a> face,” which is high gas fees and slow transaction speeds. The new integration will be available soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Polygon Network?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

VP of growth Arjun Kalsy from Polygon said: “With this integration, millions of people who use Opera every month will be able to use Polygon's thriving dApp ecosystem and best in class Web 3.0 technology.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Ethereum can only process about 15 transactions per second, scaling solutions like Polygon<\/a> have become very important in the last few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be very expensive to get gas during times of high network activity, like when celebrities try to drop more than 10,000 NFTs all at once.
