According to the Malay-language daily newspaper Sinar Harian\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, Malaysian officials seized<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> 1,720 Bitcoin mining<\/a> machines worth RM3.5 million ($836,920) during a raid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The illicit mining farm<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> has taken over RM2 million ($478,240) in electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities undertook a 16-hour operation that included 154 officers and police officers, as well as 15 technicians and six firefighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities confiscated monitors, central processing units (CPUs), modems, and other equipment in addition to ASICs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police have apprehended a 28-year-old manman who is suspected of being in charge of the farm. To cooperate with the inquiry, he has been remanded in detention for four days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
