Bitcoin\u2019s Lightning Network-powered app Strike<\/a> has officially launched in Argentina, making some of its services available to Argentinians. The country only happens to be the first nation in a series of many other targets that Strike has for 2022.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Argentines now have access to a life-changing financial experience, as well as the ability to use bitcoin remittance payments\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, according to the Bitcoin payment service provider's CEO Jack Mallers' Twitter page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nationals can now use Strike's peer-to-peer transaction system and collect bitcoin tips via their Twitter network, according to the release. The following is an excerpt from the tweet:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday, we launch a superior financial experience to a country that faces hyperinflation, predatory payment networks, and unusable cross-border transfers. Today, we use the world\u2019s open monetary network, #Bitcoin, to give hope to the people of Argentina\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Mallers continued by saying that the country has a “history of economic upheaval and uncertainty,” which Bitcoin may help to alleviate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Argentinians can possess sound money that grows purchasing power both in relation to the peso and the US dollar thanks to the peer-to-peer monetary system,<\/a> which has a finite and unchanging quantity of money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citizens' ability to save is harmed by a depreciating national currency, which silently erodes their purchasing power through inflation. In Argentina, yearly inflation has already surpassed 50% as the country battles to emerge from a long-term slump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprisingly, Argentina is simply the first of many additional nations that Strike has set as targets for 2022. There are also plans to grow into additional Latin American markets<\/a>, including Colombia and Brazil, according to the company's statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early integrations and activations have already begun in the Patagonia city of San Martin de los Andes, despite the fact that the company is still in its early stages of development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strike appears to be extra serious with its expansion plans. The firm has quadrupled its Latin American staff in preparation for its early debut in Argentina, and it is expected to hire more in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
