World of Women, founded by artist Yam Karkai, said yesterday that veteran music executive Guy Oseary\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> has been hired to represent the project in additional media formats, including television, film, music, video games, and consumer products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Guy Oseary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oseary is best known as the manager of bands Madonna and U2, and previously ran the Maverick record company. He also represents the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection for such ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He's also a well-known tech investor, co-founding Sound Ventures with Ashton Kutcher. World of Women will be adapted into additional formats by Oseary, Aaron Berndtson, and Eben Smith of DCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, World of Women has changed its commercialization rights to give each of the 10,000 NFT holders full IP rights over their individual photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project used to have a “master” right to market the entire collection, but that has since been removed. The IP rights of the World of Women are now equivalent to those of the Bored Ape Yacht Club.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n

The announcements were well received by the market. According to data from CryptoSlam, World of Women trade volume has increased by more than 1,100 percent in the last 24 hours, to more than $21 million. On Wednesday, World of Women<\/a> had a trading volume of $17.7 million, surpassing the previous high of $5.9 million achieved in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the prices of NFTs have soared, following the collection's recent rising trend. The project's price floor\u2014or the cost of the cheapest possible NFT\u2014has risen 89 percent in the previous 24 hours to 7.5 ETH, or roughly $24,700 per NFT. The World of Women's floor has increased by 305 percent in the last 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actress Eva Longoria and “Grey's Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes are among the other noteworthy celebrities who have lately purchased a World of Women NFT. According to CryptoSlam, the collection has produced more over $128 million in secondary trade volume since its inception in July 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n
