It's because NFTs are an &#8220;investment fraud,&#8221; according to mcclure's README.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They're not afraid to say what they're thinking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIn short, NFT users are just irritating to be around. People who bought NFTs have to keep hyping other people to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/gucci-set-to-enter-the-metaverse-with-the-release-of-10-supergucci-nfts.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"17141\">buy NFTs<\/a> or the NFTs they bought will lose value. Twitter NFT cliques are rife with sockpuppet accounts, dogpiling and indifferentiable monkey clones. Blocking NFT users just makes Twitter nicer.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>To ban NFT profile photo users, the web creator suggests utilizing the app Better TweetDek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>mcclure, on the other hand, appears to be uninformed about the main motivation behind Twitter's decision to use NFTs. Mcclure states in the README section that Jack Dorsey &#8220;is involved in<a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/nobel-laureate-roubini-says-el-salvador-president-should-be-impeached-over-bitcoin.html\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"17051\"> bitcoin<\/a> and will make money if Twitter makes NFTs more popular.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Jack Dorsey has a sizable cryptocurrency portfolio, he has shown little interest in NFTs since stepping down as Twitter's CEO last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under his new role as CEO of Block, he has dedicated his career to promoting Bitcoin use, mining, and development.
