The Warner Music Group's LAND in The Sandbox will showcase concerts and live events showcasing WMG-represented artists\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> and talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warner Music's initial foray into the NFT metaverse was with this endeavour. Their goal, according to a statement provided to Cointelegraph, is to create immersive social experiences that empower Warner Music artists. Artists could use the Sandbox to engage with their fans, experiment with virtual entertainment,<\/a> and generate new revenue streams while reaching a global audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement “brings the open metaverse<\/a> one step farther in the direction of fan-owned and community-driven initiatives,” according to Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Through NFTs, we're developing The Sandbox as a fun entertainment destination where producers, fans, and gamers can enjoy one-of-a-kind immersive experiences and be closer to their favorite musical artists,” he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Sandbox and Virtual real estate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Digital land is still in high demand, and The Sandbox has become one of the most competitive metaverses to compete with Decentraland<\/a> due to its consistently high trading volume. The Sandbox will organize a LAND sale in March 2022, according to the firm, to allow music aficionados to purchase LANDS adjacent to the WMG property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
