John Legend joins the NFT craze<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 12-time Grammy Award winner said in a recent interview that his NFT platform will be called “OurSong.” Artists <\/a>will be able to monetize their work by selling digital collectibles. Legend, who will serve as the project's Chief Impact Officer, expects that his new platform would empower aspiring musicians to express themselves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt can be really intimidating for an emerging creative who wants to share their art, their work with the world, share their creativity with the world, but they feel like they can\u2019t possibly do something that\u2019s going to be worth that much money. Some of them are building that up to a place where they\u2019re even making a living off of their art as students.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Music was also his “first love and first career,” according to Legend. As a result, he wanted to get involved in projects that would help to “connect the world.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such is the case with Tom Brady, the legendary NFL quarterback. The seven-time Super Bowl champion will launch an NFT <\/a>platform named “Autograph” in April 2021. He brings together renowned figures from a variety of professions, including sports, pop culture, fashion, and entertainment, for his endeavor. Tiger Woods, Tony Hawk, and Naomi Osaka are among the athletes who have already signed on to the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few months later, McLaren Racing, a Formula One team, launched a non-fungible token platform based on the Tezos blockchain.
