The new donation payment option is live now on US Figure Skating's website, powered by Engiven, and includes major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), and stablecoins<\/a> like USD Coin (USDC) and PAX Gold (PAXG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The United States Figure Skating Association now accepts cryptocurrencies as a gift for any of its major funds.” “Gifts of cryptocurrencies are tax-deductible and can assist US Figure Skating in developing programming for athletes,” according to the organization's website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engiven, according to the release, automatically converts contributed cryptocurrency into US dollars and transfers the proceeds to US Figure Skating. According to the release, “US Figure Skating is the first national governing organization in the United States to accept gifts in several cryptocurrencies<\/a>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
