Dogecoin has just gotten a non-custodial social wallet, called MyDoge Wallet, which would be used to store and trade the meme coin in a secure manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billy Marcus, a co-founder of Dogecoin, posted\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> it on Twitter on March 4th, 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The App Store description for MyDoge Wallet refers to it as “the Social Wallet for the People's Currency,” and it adds that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMyDoge is a free, secure, non-custodial social wallet for Dogecoin. Our mission is to increase the number of daily Dogecoin transactions by building a community for Dogecoin enthusiasts to explore the Dogecoin universe and connect\/meet with friends. With MyDoge you can buy, send, receive, and store your Dogecoin safely.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

According<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> to Markus, the memecoin team did not create the non-custodial wallet app. Instead, the software was created by a group of separate developers who collaborated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The software allows DOGE transfers from any cryptocurrency exchange and other crypto wallets, including Robinhood and Coinbase, according to a tweet from the MyDoge Wallet team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app is compatible with iOS 12.0 or higher on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. It'll also work on Macs with the Apple M1 chip running macOS 11.0 or later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
