NFT museum has been set up by the Ministry of Digital Transformation in Ukraine to preserve the timeline of key events that began when Russia invaded Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov tweeted\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> on Friday that the government had begun an online NFT museum that would illustrate significant episodes in Ukrainian history beginning on February 24. At 5:45 a.m. local time on the first day of the conflict, Russia proclaimed a “special military operation” in Ukraine's Donbas region, which is shown in the NFTs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting March 30, visitors to the NFT museum's website will be able to purchase NFTs<\/a> depicting “important events” in the fight between February 24 and February 26, which will be used “to support soldiers and people.” Events and sources from government officials' tweets, photographs from news sites, and the responses of world leaders “followed by personal reflections” are all depicted in the artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of using tanks to annihilate Ukraine, Fedorov explained, “We are using groundbreaking blockchain technology to achieve it.” It's a place to keep war memory alive. As well as a venue to commemorate Ukraine's independence.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NFT museum boldly states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We will never let any single day of this period disappear from the ledger of world history.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

To counter Russian official media, which has been widely criticized for spreading propaganda and misinformation about events in Ukraine following February 24, the NFT campaign appears to be seeking money to support Ukraine's military as well. For the project's stated purpose, “promote genuine knowledge among the digital community in the world,” it was stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After canceling an unannounced token airdrop on March 3, Ukraine's government hinted at an NFT initiative. Vladimir Putin's deputy minister of digital transformation, Alex Bornyakov, later stated<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> that an NFT collection “like a museum of the Russian-Ukrainian war” would be released. For the blockchain infrastructure, the Ministry of Digital Transformation collaborated with Fair.xyz team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukrainian authorities have been accepting cryptocurrency donations via wallet addresses given by the Ministry of Digital Transformation since February 26.
