Doodles' official discord account\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a> was also hacked shortly after the biggest NFT collection in the industry was exposed. It's unclear whether any NFTs were stolen from the collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bored Ape Yacht Club's official Twitter account, which has nearly 1 million followers, has also issued a caution to its users, advising them not to mint anything from the official Discord channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously, the hackers did not pick a random date for the vulnerability. Various events are frequently held by crypto and non-crypto projects to reward their communities and offer prizes. As a result, hackers took advantage of users' confidence and disguised the attack as an April Fools' joke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BAYC warned followers and NFT holders in a tweet that this is neither an AirDrop nor an April Fools' joke or event. Other NFT collections are now under attack, according to the initiative, and users should avoid clicking any links they encounter in NFT-related Discord conversations because they may lead to phishing websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time of publication, Etherscan had at least nine transactions associated with “Fake Phishing5519,” which could indicate that the hacker took more than one MutantApeYachtClub #8662 from the collection. The address is presently valued at $65,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time the NFT community<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, collection, or marketplace has been hacked or phished. OpenSea, the largest NFT trading platform, had a series of hacks, phishing assaults, and exploits earlier this year, resulting in enormous losses for consumers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
