Shiba Inu and Dogecoin Now Accepted by Vancouver-Based MeatmeCA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Shiba Inu<\/a>, Dogecoin<\/a>, and other BitPay-supported cryptocurrencies are now accepted as payment by Vancouver-based meatmeCA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vancouver-based meat company, which connects consumers with local farmers and allows them to order meat products online, announced the integration of BitPay into its checkout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers would be able to pay for their orders with Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum<\/a> (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and five USD-pegged stablecoins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC, and USDP) thanks to this integration with BitPay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BitPay<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> officially began supporting the Shiba Inu Coin in late 2021, allowing SHIB to be spent at hundreds of the platform merchants that accept Shiba Inu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SlingTV, American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, Carolina Hurricanes, and Twitch are among the major companies that currently accept SHIB via BitPay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price Movement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After the European Parliament voted to prohibit anonymous cryptocurrency transactions, the cryptocurrency market is struggling to recover. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to CoinMarketCap data, the price of meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB)<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> has dropped nearly 7.80 percent in the last 24 hours. Dogecoin<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a> (DOGE) has also dropped by more than 7% in the same time frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Shiba Inu fell, data from the WhaleStats on-chain data platform shows that in the last 17 hours, a whale named “Bombur” purchased a whopping 175.2 billion SHIB, worth nearly $4.4 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, WhaleStats reported frequent transactions involving the purchase of SHIB from another top ETH whale known as “Gimli.” On March 30, “Gimli” paid a total of $11,313,795 for a total of 421,370,420,624 SHIB in two large transfers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
