After hackers siphoned $622 million in cryptocurrency from the company's Ethereum sidechain, Ronin, last month, Sky Mavis, the producer of the play-to-earn game Axie Infinity, has announced a bug bounty program\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To “promote responsible disclosure of security flaws,” the developer is giving up to $1 million in incentives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aleksander Leonard Larsen, the company's Chief Operating Officer, tweeted, “Calling all white hats in the blockchain field.” “Assist us in keeping @Ronin Network safe while earning a reward.” Larsen provided a link to a page about the Sky Mavis Bug Bounty Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sky Mavis pledges to pay white hats also known as cybersecurity vigilantes their bounties in Axie Infinity's native token AXS, with a “six-month vesting term and monthly unlocking for fatal bounties.” Those who can identify “extraordinarily severe concerns or those with enormous impact” will receive a top reward of $1,000,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sky Mavis is also providing a $100,000 reward for finding “major” smart contract <\/a>and blockchain flaws, as well as $50,000, $5,000, and $1,000 rewards for “high,” “medium,” and “low” risks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
