Shyam Madiraju will write and direct the film, which is based on Camila Russo's book The Infinite Machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s incredibly exciting to have Ridley Scott and the crew at Scott Free produce the movie of The Infinite Machine alongside us,\u201d<\/em> Russo told industry news site Deadline. \u201cI can\u2019t imagine a better team to turn the riveting story about the people behind the most revolutionary technology since the internet into a feature film that will capture the hearts of our generation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the publisher's description, Russo's book “begins with Vitalik Buterin, a phenomenally bright nineteen-year-old autodidact who spotted the promise of blockchain when the technology was in its earliest stages.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt then explores the brilliant innovation and reckless greed the platform\u2014an infinitely adaptable foundation for experimentation and new applications\u2014has unleashed and the consequences that resulted as the frenzy surrounding it grew.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team driving the creative effort will benefit from Scott Free Productions\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>‘ experience bringing a number of blockbusters to the big screen by bringing them on board. House of Gucci, starring Adam Driver, Lady Gaga, and Al Pacino, is one of the most recent films in which the film production company has been involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
