Bitcoin Jesus has returned! Roger Ver has returned to social media after a long absence, including from crypto conferences where he was a regular speaker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview, he expressed his support for Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter, praised DOGE while criticizing Bitcoin, and chastised Michael Saylor<\/a> and his ilk for spreading “techno-bubble nonsense.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin Jesus is back On Twitter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Roger Ver earned the moniker “Bitcoin Jesus” for his almost evangelical devotion to Bitcoin. He lived up to his name, spreading the Satoshi gospel during the early days of Bitcoin, when it was mostly used by tech nerds on the Internet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Bitcoin became popular, Ver continued his Satoshi evangelism, becoming a regular speaker at crypto conferences and an early investor in a number of today's multi-billion-dollar crypto companies, including Ripple<\/a> and the $14-billion-valued Blockchain.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many crypto enthusiasts, including Jesus, have returned to Twitter or praised Elon Musk's takeover<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brian Armstrong, the Coinbase CEO is also a huge fan, saying<\/use><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ver believes the move is a great leap for the social media platform, telling Bloomberg in an interview on Thursday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It\u2019ll certainly make Twitter more attractive. I am really, really grateful that Musk is out there calling out censorship.”<\/p>\u2014 Roger Ver<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Bitcoin Jesus Endorses Dogecoin Over Bitcoin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite being dubbed “Bitcoin Jesus” and fervently supporting BTC in its early days, Ver split from the leading cryptocurrency in 2017 and formed Bitcoin Cash with others who preferred larger blocks for faster and cheaper transactions. Anything, including Dogecoin<\/a>, is better than BTC, as he now claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Dogecoin is significantly better. It\u2019s cheaper and more reliable. If I had to pick three contenders [for the world\u2019s dominant cryptocurrency], they would be Doge, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.”<\/p>\u2014 Roger Ver<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Despite his Bitcoin<\/a> and Bitcoin Cash roots, Ver claims to have always held multiple cryptocurrencies at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am definitely a cryptocurrency whale still,\u201d he told Bloomberg. \u201cI\u2019ve always had a wide assorted basket in cryptocurrency. I was never a Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash maximalist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his interview, he also took a shot at Michael Saylor, the Microstrategy CEO who has become the embodiment of BTC maximalism. Saylor elicits almost equal amounts of love and hate, with BTC fans adoring him and many others despising his anti-altcoin stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ver is not a fan. He stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
