Optimism Collective and Gabriel Haines were also banned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-is-this-move-preventing-freedom-of-speech\">Is This Move Preventing Freedom Of Speech?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>However, YouTube has been known to randomly shut down and reopen channels. To the skeptic, <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/youtube-may-be-considering-nfts-on-its-platform.html\">YouTube<\/a> appears to be targeting Web3 and crypto channels, limiting freedom of speech. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aave's founder, Stani Kulechov, tweeted about the video-sharing platform's recent shutdowns, saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\" \/>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201c\u200b\u200bIt seems that @YouTube (@Google) has banned educational web3 accounts on YouTube including @BanklessHQ, @gabrielhaines and @optimismPBC deleting their content and ability to share information with their audiences.
