<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of their experience in creating dynamic and permanent environments, Fils-Aim\u00e9 believes that established gaming firms, such as Nintendo, are more positioned to be leading the race for the metaverse than other companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reggie-fils-aime-thought-on-metaverse-gaming-companies\">Reggie Fils-Aim\u00e9 Thought On Metaverse, Gaming Companies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition to lead the metaverse area is on, and some believe gaming corporations will take the lead in the near future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of their experience designing and building immersive experiences for games, Reggie Fils-Aim\u00e9, former CEO and president of Nintendo of America from 2006 to 2019 feels that gaming firms like Nintendo and Sony are better positioned and equipped to lead this <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/list-of-top-metaverse-gaming-platforms.html\">metaverse<\/a> race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fils-Aim\u00e9 addressed Yahoo Finance on the topic of the metaverse and game companies:<\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\" \/>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center is-style-large\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;I do believe it\u2019s going to be led by gaming companies and I do believe that \u2014 if delivered in a way that\u2019s fun, that\u2019s compelling \u2014 it\u2019s an experience that people will want to have.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reggie Fils-Aim\u00e9, Former Nintendo President<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\" \/>\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, according to Fils-Aim\u00e9, metaverse aspects like as persistent digital worlds and digital avatars are already available in a variety of gaming experiences today, thus the transition from traditional gaming to metaverse gaming will not be a significant adjustment for gamers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-future-of-metaverse-and-gaming\">The Future Of Metaverse And Gaming <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The metaverse is expected to be a $13 billion opportunity with a user base of more than five billion people. Therefore, gaming and other industries are eager to get involved as soon as feasible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Companies such as Sony, which owns the Playstation brand, have already included the metaverse as a key notion in their business plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sony said at the time that it planned to use the unique qualities afforded by its diversified companies and expertise in gaming technology.
