In addition, he suggested that regulations and techniques be established to guide players in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saraki said during a meeting that advanced monetary standards had opened doors for the country's youth. He did, however, support matters such as combating money laundering and other issues that authorities are concerned about.<\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\" \/>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-rounded\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/media.premiumtimesng.com\/wp-content\/files\/2018\/04\/Saraki.jpg\" alt=\"Saraki Openly Discloses His Support For Crypto\" width=\"352\" height=\"210\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center is-style-large\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;I also think it has helped especially the young generation in creating jobs and opportunities. So, yes, I am in support of that.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 27px\">Bukola Saraki<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\" \/>\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Saraki did not outline his plans for the <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/how-to-read-cryptocurrency-charts.html\">cryptocurrency<\/a> industry in the meeting if he were to win the Nigerian presidency in the 2023 elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-restriction-of-crypto-related-transactions-in-nigeria\">Restriction Of Crypto-Related Transactions In Nigeria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nigerian central bank has been expecting banking institutions to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/nigeria-announces-new-crypto-asset-rules.html\">restrict crypto-related transactions<\/a> since February 5, 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Privately traded cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, according to the bank, have no place in Nigeria's normal financial structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless, despite the CBN's mission to financial institutions and the subsequent crackdown on deviant institutions, Nigerian interest in digital currencies has not waned, as peer-to-peer bitcoin volumes continue to rise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This reality is further supported by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria's (SEC) new guidelines governing the crypto industry's participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-campaign-for-the-presidential-ticket\">Campaign For The Presidential Ticket<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After a bruising campaign for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was announced as the main opposition party's presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections yesterday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atiku received 371 votes, beating out his rivals for the PDP ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Governor Nyeson Wike of Rivers State received 237 votes; Senator Bukola Saraki received 70 votes; Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State received 38 votes; Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State received 20 votes; Senator Pius Anyim received 14 votes, and Mr. Sam Ohuabunwa and Oliver Diana received one vote each.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Despite the restriction of crypto-related transactions in Nigeria Bukola Saraki openly disclosed his support for crypto Saraki Openly Discloses His Support For Crypto Bukola Saraki was recently seen publicly stating that he supports digital currencies and does not believe they will destabilize the economy.
