The Sky Mavis onboarding process saw the acceptance of only 12 people for the Builders Program out of 2,000 applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the various benefits, selected teams will get a minimum $10,000 grant to fund project development in Axie Infinity's governance token, Axie Infinity Shards (AXS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will also be given a license to use the Axie Infinity brand to monetize their game through a revenue-share mechanism\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across Lunacia, a platforming adventure for Axie NFTs, and Mech Infinity, a battle royale game utilizing Axies and their special skills, are two notable projects. Axie Infinity's game product lead, Philip La, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCommunity co-creation […] will be a fundamental driver of scaled-value generation over time. The Builders Program is the first step in a new world where the community can make significant and meaningful contributions directly toward games and projects they love and is one of many initiatives that will allow players to gain more enjoyment from the Axies they own.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

SLP, on the other hand, has lost 96 percent of its value in the last year due to a bloated token supply, the ongoing crypto bear market, and a crowded player base. As a result, gamers began to leave the game in droves as their incomes plummeted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
