Animoca Brands acquires naming rights to MotoGP Races<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On June 8, Animoca Brands announced on its website that it has strengthened its collaboration with Dorna Sports, the commercial rights holder for Grand Prix racing, by securing title sponsorships for two Grand Prix seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season, the gaming company will be the title sponsor of MotoGP races in Aragon and Australia\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/g>\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n <\/clipPath>\r\n <\/defs><\/svg><\/span><\/a>, as well as two more events in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Animoca Brands co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere is no more distinguished brand in the world of professional motorcycle racing than MotoGP, and we are proud to provide our sponsorship and inclusion into the REVV Motorsport ecosystem.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He hopes the branding rights will help Animoca Brands' REVV Motorsports racing blockchain games<\/a> gain traction, with REVV serving as the gaming ecosystem's principal token.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc Saurina, senior director of global commercial partnerships at Dorna Sports, praised the cooperation and welcomed Animoca as the title sponsor for MotoGP Grand Prix events. He was also honored to contribute sponsorship and be a part of the REVV Motorsport ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sports and Crypto relationship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Many sports organizations and teams have accepted cryptocurrency companies as sponsors and partners as a result of the cryptocurrency boom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crypto exchange FTX purchased the naming rights to the Miami Heat basketball venue<\/a>, now known as FTX Arena, for 19 years last year. In addition, FTX has purchased the naming rights to California Memorial Stadium, which is home to the Golden Bears of California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
