It confirms that Tether had $66.4 billion in assets then, including $28.8 billion in <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/tether-to-introduce-gbpt-stablecoin-backed-by-british-pound-sterling.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Treasury bills<\/a>, $6.8 billion in <a href=\"https:\/\/coinscreed.com\/staging\/how-to-raise-funds-using-crypto.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">money-market funds<\/a>, $5.4 billion in cash, and a few other small holdings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tether Chief Technology Officer Paolo Ardoino wrote on the company's website, &#8220;The utility of Tether continues to be supported by the transparency of its reserves.
